The first and the third are fairly obvious (in my mind at least). The 5th sentence of the 23rd page of the three books I have within arm's reach: Exterminate intenuity, discard profit. Clearly, the immortal is breath, while the real is name and visible appearance; the breath here is veiled by these two. Mircea Eliade suggests this when he writes that all religion has to do with "the element of the sacred" manifesting itself in various ways: in rituals, persons, and natural phenomena, just to cite a few examples.
