My Clock Died

The clock in my den died. It's not the battery, because it keeps twitching every minute. I should really mess with it a bit before tossing it.

I can't remember how old it is, but it's probably more than ten years.

And I was going to look for a replacement when I was at WalMart, but I forgot.

Raccoon report: Last night it pulled off the trash can lid (I hadn't bothered with the bungee cord) then apparently went into the can to eat the cat food. I left the lid off today in case any of the Lady's feline friends wanated a snack.

I started on a Patricia Cornwell that is extremely short. It's about 300 pages, but there are at least two blank pages between chapters (okay, one page has the chapter number) and the spacing looks like 1.5. Needless to say, it's going quickly. I'm hoping to finish it this evening. So many books, so little time.

And so passes another incredibly unremarkable day.
