Today was my day to attempt to be a homebody. I cleaned the bathroom--mostly the area around the cat box.

I did a load of dark laundry. And at this moment I can't remember whether it made it to the dryer or not. I'll have to check that.

The front by the street got weeded somewhat. And then I realized that the grass that had been creeping over the cement patio had been removed. I'll bet it was my petsitter's doing! I'm glad I paid her beyond her bill.

On my way to PJs for some OPAC I realized that Buy Gasoline was a priority. I would really be pushing it tomorrow if I hadn't filled the tank this afternoon.

Tomorrow and Saturday will be good days to stay away from all sorts of stores--including WalMart. There is a two-day sales tax holiday and I am quite sure the stores will be more crowded than at Christmas.

I got some more of the suitcase unpacked. Fabian is going to be really upset when it gets put away and he doesn't have that nice comfy perch on the bed. But I think I have most, if not all, the clothes out of it and where they belong.

Back to work tomorrow. Wednesday the price of a bottled coke from the machine in the lobby went from $1 to $1.25. I think I'll try to remember to bring my own.

So far it hasn't rained today--otherwise it would have been just an ordinary summer day.
