My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

I must get this posted before 7 CDT. Why? It's the Hall of Fame football game, and the Saints are one of the teams.

Time to see how the team is coming along this year. Time to try to decide whether it's worth trying to remember all the new names, since many of them will be cut before the "real" season starts.

And, the startup of football suggests that the hot summer weather will not last forever.

It's currently in the mid-90s, with a "feels like" of about ten degrees higher.

I slept later than I'd planned this morning, but I still got to WalMart before the Sunday rush. Of course, many of those people probably did their shopping a day or two early to take advantage of the sales tax holiday.

When I got back home I put away most of the groceries and then read the Sunday paper. After that, my body wanted a nap. And then OPAC for some reading.

Definitely an IUD.

Idle thought that came to me when driving somewhere: We have had three U. S. Presidents with first names of George. The current one is (of course) George III.

Didn't England have a George III back in the 1700s? And didn't he manage to stir up a little brouhaha that cost jolly old England quite a bit of property?

Just a thought.
