Saturday, and I can't think of very much that I've accomplished.

I cleaned the bathroom cat box, then took a full trash barrel up front. He doesn't pick up till Tuesday, but I put it in place when it's full, rather than wait till the last minute.

Did some minor tidying, then read Dead Man Rising. This is the second book in Lilith Saintcrow's series which involves demons and all sorts of psionic talents.

This one was pretty suspenseful and somehow I kept going back to it until I finished it. Now I'm reading the next one--The Devil's Right Hand. Yes, that devil--Lucifer himself. (She met him in the first book.)

Along the way I took a nap.

Oh yes--I watched a Clean House episode (I think it's Oxygen channel--or maybe Style.) It makes me feel a whole lot better to see houses that are wall to wall clutter and mess, complete with clothes all over the floor and no place to even walk. Compared to that, mine could be a model house.

Fabian was feeling VERY friendly today and wanted lots of lap time. It's pretty rough being a goddess to a cat--you've got to let the cat adore you by taking an extended nap on you--thus tying you to one place. And sometimes the cat brain waves affect the human brain waves so that you, the goddess, also take a nap.

I did do a bit of trimming along the driveway this afternoon and tomorrow I plan to do more. I may postpone groceries until Monday, on the way home from work.

There was a book in the mail--a geek book about very early India. It looks quite interesting and useful for my teaching. Got to love the used book sales on line. The Women's Center library sells books via Amazon. (If you're buying from Amazon used books and the seller is "vorhoff," that's where I work.)

Weather is cooling down noticeably--I don't think I've sweat significantly today, even when I was doing the trimming. And the cats are sharing my body heat at night.

Well, I have blithered on for a bit, but that's what happens when it's been an IUD.

(But a nice one!)
