My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Raining, and cold. Even Lady--who normally spends the day outside--preferred the great indoors with its magical heat spots.

A friend called for her (attractive tiger) and she went out for a few minutes, but when I opened the door she came back in. He called for her a bit more, then meandered off to find a different playmate. ("Mate" may well have been the operative word.)

I did some half-hearted tidying, then took a nap. When I woke up it was no longer raining. It was, however, still cold. I noticed that I was about out of raccoon/possum food, not to mention decent stuff for me. Therefore, I headed for WalMart. (By 5 PM there are no longer crowds.) So I should be pretty much restocked for about a week, or at least until I discover something that I should have bought.

Do you realize that there are almost TEN MONTHS until the presidential election? I'm already politicked out!

I think I shall go watch mindless TV while I read a mind candy book. That activity goes well with yucky cold weather.
