I remembered to call the tree man this afternoon. The other day I had looked over my trees and saw some that probably needed to come down.

He came by after I got home, and agreed with me. He also pointed out a couple of others that were having problems. He quoted a price, I gulped, and then divided it up by the number of trees. We're going to use the pool for the smaller tree trash. And, he can probably do them Monday.

The spring is a good time to get trees taken down or trimmed, or whatever. Prices go way up when there's a hurricame in the Gulf of Mexico.

The tree guy before this one got me in the habit of looking up at the trees and spotting potential storm victims. It's a good habit.

I also remembered to call the vet to see when my menagerie is due for their annuals. It's May, and so I made a tentative appointment for a week from Monday. I think Rosie said 7:30 AM.

And I had yet another call for May this afternoon--the Blood Center. I'm eligible to donate again May 1.

I'm beginning to see daylight with the current collection. I gave Susan a status report, and she said she had some more collections for me when I finished this one.

And the Hornets won last night!!! First time since they moved to New Orleans (from S. Carolina) that they've won a post-season series. Needless to say, there was a long line at the ticket window for the first game in the next round. I think they'll be playing the San Antonio Spurs. I'll have to find something turquoise to wear the day of the next game.

As you can tell, it was basically an IUD.
