It's the first of May.

My late husband added the second line: "Outdoor *****ing begins today."

The love bugs were out in force near the lake this afternoon. I noticed a size disparity between the two connected bugs. Which is the larger bug--the male or the female?

Now how is that for a deep philosophical question!

I got a lot accomplished at work--very close to being finished with a collection that had to be reworked and additional material integrated into it.

What would you like to know about beauty pageants, the people who enter them, and the preparations for that stroll across the stage in 4 inch heels and a skimpy bathing suit?

What else did I learn from this collection, aside from the pageant game and the Tuskeegee airwoman?

There were pieces on several civil rights activists (female), information about factory towns (especially those in the South), an article about the Bronte sisters and their writings . . .

These boxes are treasure troves.

At the moment I haven't decided whether to go in to work tomorrow or type up the inventories for two collections at home. Since I'm not going in to work till Wednesday next week I hate to get started on a new project late in the afternoon. Besides, I'm eligible to give blood again, as the lady from the blood center reminded me yesterday.

(I'm pretty much talking myself out of into working at home tomorrow.)

Besides, there's some more yard work I'd like to get done before Monday.

Last night there were two raccoons demolishing the dog biscuits. And the possum very efficiently consumed the dry cat food on the top step of the porch.

What else is there to say about an IUD?
