This is a real doozy of a front that is passing through southern Louisiana. There are still tornado watches around Lafitte (significantly west of us) and reports of serious and moderate road flooding.

It's not raining here any more, but water is over my street. This means that there is a LOT of water in a couple of places down the road. And the nearby subdivison is probably flooded too. Therefore, I'll be staying at home for a while.

On the "bright" side--Saturday morning TV has not been non-stop cartoons. The local channels have been telecasting updates, remote shots, warnings, and predictions.

As for me--when the rain started I went back to sleep.
