Self: be sure, when you set the alarm clock, that the wake-up time is AM, not PM.

After waking up very refreshed at 8 AM, I concluded that I would go in to work tomorrow, and mess around at home today.

I spent most of the afternoon at PJ's reading the Sarah Pomeroy book The Murder of Regilla. It is filled with information about the lives of upper class women during the Roman Empire. Regilla is a Roman woman who ends up marrying a Greek man--about twenty years older, as was the custom. He and she return to Greece and that's where the events leading up to her murder take place.

PJ's was not exactly a busy place today. Their business seems to be getting slower and slower. Of course, now that school is out there aren't the hordes of high school kids who stop by on their way home. And--the college/nursing school people are not frantically group-studying.

I have double-checked the alarm setting for accuracy, and double-checked that I have actually turned it on.

So, tomorrow will be a work day.

Oh--I think all the big long trucks were for a Shakespeare Festival at Tulane. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

(And the private entry is a book list I copied from Cynical a Life. Once I have gone over it I'll open it to all.)
