I had just about finished an entry when the computer froze. (How it can freeze on a hot day is another question--to be postponed till later--like maybe never.)

Hmmm - - - Okay--I got to work about 7:15. Fantastic parking place, on one of the higher spots, yet close enough that I probably wouldn't get totally soaked if it was raining when I left.

I think that precaution kept the rain away.

It's interesting to read the bio/comment sheets is the various reunion books that I'm processing. I am amazed at how many of the women go on to advanced degrees (the majority seem to be M.D and J.D.) and stay in their fields. (We're talking about graduates in the early 70s. I see little difference between these women's career plans and those of the late 80s.)
Number of kids is probably that "average" figure of 2.4 or 2.5.

The majority (of the women) marry, and the majority of those stay married. (At least of the ones who send in an update sheet.)

Tomorrow will be an "at home" day. I use that description with a "yeah, right" expression on my face.

I have a check-up appointment with the orthopedist, and then I'll try to get my talons trimmed back. I swear--my toenails could reach around a small branch if they had to.

(I'd planned on having this taken care of yesterday, but I had no place cool to store the sushi.)

Oh well--having these appointments keeps me from feeling guilty about procrastinating on the yard work.
