It's started cooling off just a bit, so it's time for fall colors for the background.

I made it to work before 7 AM and put in a solid day, not leaving till about 4 PM. At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to go in tomorrow or Friday for my second day this week.

While driving to work I noticed one New Orleans gas station with gas for $3.48/gal. However, this is the station where the day laborers congregate. The station closest to Tulane was $3.75/gallon.

I let CC eat her supper on the kitchen counter this evening, but put the dish on the porch for Lady. And I put some dry food down for Tom (neighbor's cat.) Tom was on the porch telling me to hurry up with the food while I was getting the dishes ready. He won't let me touch him, but he's not shy about food.

The weather is rapidly becoming nicer and nicer, and I am getting slightly enthusiastic about the ever-present yard work.

So, today was a garden-variety IUD, but a pleasant one.
