Yep--and it started with grocery shopping nice and early so I could be sure and get an electric cart.

The critter food took up most of the basket. I swear, if it weren't for the assorted critters (and the storage space needed for their food) I could probably shop once a month.

But that would be no fun. Besides, I usually end up buying a mind candy book. The Great Rearrangement of WalMart has put the book section in a MUCH more accessible location.

I got some household tidying done, then had a sinking spell, followed by serious reading at PJ's.

One of these days I'm going to have to light the furnace. I haven't decided if I should clean before that, or wait till the fan has blown all the accumulated dust out of the vents before I clean.

I'm only up to one light afghan plus one cat for nighttime warmth so I guess I can put that off a bit.

The waste service I don't pay for emptied my trash again this morning. I have a once a week pick-up, but these other people (who cost a bunch more) don't bother to check whether I'm a customer, but just empty the barrel if it's out front. I am not complaining. I wonder if they would grab the broken fan if it was out there.

Instead of trying to remember when it is pick-up day I just put the barrel out front when it is full. My pick-up man thinks it's funny too.

Weather is lovely--I think I'll go at the yard again tomorrow morning. Then I can watch the football game and maybe do some more yard stuff after it.

Another IUD coming up.
