And there doesn't seem to be much of a chance of rain, at least in the next day or so. Maybe a scattered shower, but all those do is crank up the humidity.

So, I made use of OPAC this afternoon, spending a pleasant couple of hours at PJ's.

It was followed by a relatively brief stop at WalMart, where I restocked the beverages of choice. And I gave another cold coke to the guy stuck in the sun at the Garden area gate. Different guy this time.

I was greeted by a calimese tabby watchcat in the driveway, rather than the usual mostly black cat. He was around, but in a different place.

I fed the cats and put out raccoon chow on the porch. Later I'll toss out a bunch of raccoon biscuits.

Even the heat today is essentially unremarkable--after all it's August. I'm hoping for an unremarkable thunderstorm this evening to cool things down.
