I just noticed that it's getting dark outside, and it's only just a bit after 7 PM. I'll bet there will be some more rain soon.

At least the rain cools things down somewhat. And it makes the cats VERY affectionate--and glad they have a house to go into, rather than trying to find a relatively dry spot in the woods.

Today was definitely and IUD--rain seemed in the offing for much of it, so I didn't even consider going out somewhere.

I sat down on the front porch (it's screened) about mid-afternoon, and next thing I know there's a little raccoon looking at me soulfully.

Okay--so I went and got the cat kibble. And the raccoon and a couple of its siblings were happy.

I'll toss out a couple of handfuls of small dog biscuits when I settle down for the evening.

(I can't imagine why the critters hang around here.)

So--it's been another quiet day. I haven't felt the need to go erranding or anything.

As I said, an IUD.
