I go to print something out. The printer chugs away, but the page is blank.

Not a problem--or shouldn't be--I almost always have a spare ink cartridge.

This time, however, I don't.

You'll note that I left out the part about discovering the flashlight I keep at the ready (one in every room) has a very dead battery. This is one of those lantern lights, and it uses a lantern battery, instead of the models that use four D batteries.

And I just now remembered that I called in a prescription renewal this morning and haven't yet picked it up.

Guess I'll be stopping at Walgreen's on my way to the interstate tomorrow--unless, of course, it's raining again. With my luck it will be.

OMG!! I just looked at tomorrow's date. No wonder nothing is going right. I'm just a bit ahead of myself in the luck department.
