An early call from Mobile was not a good omen.

Basically, it meant disgusting weather again, at least east of here.

I checked the weather radar and sure enough it looked really nasty along I-10, aspecially in Alabama and Mississippi.

We were both frustrated.

It rained a bit here, but we were lucky--most everywhere around us and to the east had really nasty weather. In my specific area there were a few sprinkles.

I wasn't too happy about the football game last night, but then the early pre-season games are for learning to work together with new teammates. At least they lost by only a field goal. And I don't think there were any major or semi-major injuries.

In the early afternoon I headed for WalMart to get a new ink cartridge and a lantern battery. Fortunately, I wrote down the "number" for the ink cartridge.

And I just realized that I haven't picked up that prescription. Guess I'll do that now.
