A new month, and a change of color. What few deciduous trees that might be near me are showing their end-of-growing-season color.

Today was another blah day. Early in the afternoon I heard little creature noises from the patio, and there were some of my masked friends looking for some munchies. One of them was mama, so I took pity on them and ended up tossing out dry kibble, since I was out of small dog biscuits.

Little Goldie (one of the mamas) looks like she's just about done with the nursing stuff. And the youngsters are almost her size.

That meant I needed to go out to Walmart to get some more raccoon biscuits.

And some other stuff, including a ready-made salad.

When I got back home the little ones were still hanging around. As quickly as possible I tossed out the little dog biscuits, and suddenly there was a bunch of happy little faces.

When I got up this morning it was a bit on the cool side in the house. One of these days I need to light the furnace pilot, but not before doing a thorough vacuuming of the house in general. (Probably tomorrow for that.)

I hate to jinx anything, but the top of my head feels significantly less tender than several days ago. Maybe the latest drug is doing its thing.

And tomorrow I REALLY need to get at the yard. Daniel started another burn pile and I need to get that taken care of.

And the weather forecast for the next several days is Gorgeous!
