I spent a large part of the weekend trying to guess if it would rain today. I finally concluded that the odds of rain during hours I was commuting were rather high.

So, I stayed home and caught up on some stuff. And it didn't even sprinkle.

Let's see if the prediction of a non-rainy tomorrow is as off as the prediction for a rainy today. I hope not.

I spent most of the afternoon updating the family finances (paying bills). And then I headed out to WalMart for more critter food and treats--and some human food also.

This week I must clean--my honorary son is crashing here Friday. I can't remember when I last heard from/about him, so it will be good to see him--and find out what he's involved in.

But I do need to rearrange the junk. The house quickly reverts to a place for me to sit and lounge, with the rest of the house for the cats to sit, lounge, and sleep.

The computer room was once a bedroom, and I guess you could say it still is. The papasan is CC's bed--and a catchall for stuff like stray blankets etc.

The "guest" room is kept closed off, It has huge numbers of books in it--probably most of them are from my youth. It also has a relatively new papasan that seems to have given the few guests I've had a decent night's sleep. (Or, at least, so they politely say.)

So I've got some work cut out for me this week. AND--something to look forward to.

I paid bills this afternoon--including a big one to the Saints for the coming season's tickets.

The Dome is undergoing some serious remodelling, but i don't think there are any drastic changes where my seats are--upgrading and replacing, but pretty much the same conformation as before. That should mean the same people around us. The same nice people around us.

So today was definitely not an IUD.
