Fortunately, it was not a "big time" election, although a bunch of state offices were up for grabs. And I seem to recall a challenge for a House of Representatives seat. No one challenged the incumbant governor, but there was a "race" for lieutenant governor. I was in and out in about five minutes. No lines in the mid-afternoon, and no shortage of parking spaces. What more can you ask for.

Other than the election, it was another IUD. After I voted I headed for Arby's for a late lunch, which I took home to eat. (I surely do like their beef and swiss with mushrooms sandwich.)

Tomorrow looks to be another IUD. I'm pretty sure there's a Saints game to watch. Hope they show a little more energy than in the last couple of games. It will be interesting to hear the network commentary about the coach's broken leg.
