Ho hum day, that is.

Although when I got back from erranding I saw my neighbors outside and asked the man if he was in the mood to replace the bulb in a ceiling light. (The light is in the kitchen.)

He took care of that in nothing flat, then his wife (who had come along) and he and I chatted for a while.

They are really great neighbors, even if their dogs sometimes bark overenthusiastically. I think that the dogs also bark at strangers coming to my place, so I'm not about to mention it. After all, they are guarding my place also, and they seem to have gotten used to the various raccoons etc. coming and going, and no longer bark at them. (Most of the time. )

I made the mistake of looking at my word-a-day calendar, and there's something written for the next several days--things such as Dentist, Platelets okay as of tomorrow, and Anna's Birthday (omigosh!!) tomorrow.

Except that my notes aren't too clear about whether it (the dentist) is tomorrow or Tuesday. Well, the dentist usually sends a telephone reminder, so I shall assume it's Tuesday unless I get a phone call tonight.

Weather today was southern-spring gorgeous. The temperature was high enough that sweaters were not necessary, and low enough that ordinary activity didn't produce a sweat.

As I said at the top of the page--another IUD.
