My prediction of last week has failed, alas. At least in the pages of the Oregonian. I suppose that if I wanted to trawl through the dreck of the infobahn I could find its fulfillment among the paranoid left and right. But I was hoping to see a "respectable" daily keep the streak alive.

So in order to assuage my wounded soothsaying ego, I now predict that on Sunday, while Mrs The Fyd and a friend went to see that bigoted anti-Catholic and counterfactual movie that all the kids are talking about, I will have had an enjoyable bike ride to Everday Music, where I sold some CDs for about $120 and reinvested about $60 of this on more CDs.
