This morning I came downstairs and said cheerfully to Mrs The Fyd, "Guess I'd better make reservations for tomorrow!" Meaning reservations for dinner for our anniversary. Mrs The Fyd smiled as one does to a moron and said, "Even better, how about reservations for Wednesday?" So then I looked at the inside of my wedding ring at the date engraved there, smacked myself on the head, and said, "D-Day Plus 1! Our anniversary is on D-Day Plus 1."

I'd better make reservations.
