Now that Michelle Kwan's officially on the Olympic team, I'm ready for the Games to start. Also, kudos to the NY Times for writing the first Kwan article that mentions she was left off the Olympic team in 1994 because of the Kerrigan-Harding debacle -- and considering Harding's involvement, and completely disastrous performance (I choose to think because of guilt), you could argue that Michelle was cheated out of one Olympics already. I'm not really that interested in figure skating anymore, but because Michelle and I are basically the same age, and her Olympic quests have previously happened at pretty emotional times in my life (freshman year of high school, freshman year of college, the horrible year before grad school at the point where I cried every Sunday night because I hated my job so much and thought I'd be stuck in it forever) I'm still attached to her in a completely unobjective way I've long since given up with other atheletes -- even including my boy Albert and the rest of the Cardinals.

Let's just hope the Ladies Skating Final is not on a Wednesday night. Don't ask me to pick between my girls.
