I have nothing to do again today (not my fault; the DVD-RWs I needed to transfer videos today didn't get here), and Emm's out sick and Lala's having a rough day, so aside from consultation about "our" NFL picks I haven't even had anyone to talk to. I don't know how Lala does her job sometimes. At least when people are rude to me at work I can just blow them off as ridiculous for getting so upset about a free and relatively unconsequential service. It's a little harder when people take issue with you when their lives are on the line. Which is exactly why I barely survived fourteen months at the psychotherapy practice. That and occasionally having to share my office with a ferret. (True story!)

Anyway, now I have to think of something to do to distract myself until game time. Somewhere in the commercial break between the 8th and 9th innings last night, it occurred to me that the Cards just might win this thing and *poof* all my heretofore calm, just-happy-not-to-be-swept mentality evaporated. So that's basically the reason for this post. Maybe I'll go play around in Photoshop for awhile -- after all, I can write that off as professional development. But, before I go: I was making fun of those Richlist promos that have been airing on Fox, until the one last night made me realize they weren't just asking for Tom Cruise movies, they were asking for 21 Tom Cruise movies, I assume in a specific amount of time. At first I thought that was easy too, but I only came up with 14 without cheating -- and the last 3 took several minutes of memory-dredging. (I have 15 now, because I just remembered Rain Man.) How many can you come up with?
