So, I hooked up the vhs to dvd converter that dear ole' mom bought me (notice I said "ole" and not "old", mother!) Anywhoo, I've mainly been going through and watching the videos to see what I've got before I actually do any editing and recording. And boy have I found some good stuff so far! I'm only a couple tapes in, but there is some really choice stuff on these things.

From the time I was around 12, when we got our first camcorder (you know tha big dog that had to sit on your shoulder that held full size VHS tapes?) until I was around 16, my friends and I recorded hours upon hours of really stupid crap.

It's amazing to see how much of an idiot I really was! But god, are these things funny. Maybe if I'm feeling really confident about myself, I'll post an old video of me singing and dancing, just to knock myself down a peg or twelve. But you might have to really beg me to see it. I haven't decided yet.

However, I did find some old footage of Club MTV. Why I felt the need to record this, I have no idea. But I'm pretty happy I did. It's so funny to watch all these people dancing in these horrendous outfits, doing these horrible moves, all the while thinking they look like hot shit.

So, in homage to the MTV of yore, I give you CLUB MTV WITH DOWNTOWN JULIE BROWN!
