Rainy Day blues

Ok, so it's more like overcast than rainy. And I don't really have the blues. But it's still one of those days. I can't stop spacing out lately.

As if being sick twice in three weeks wasn't bad enough, my allergies are starting to kick in. Every morning I go out to my car and see a little more pollen on it than the day before. And I can feel them starting to settle over me. My eyes are dry and gritty feeling, my nose is either constantly stuffy or running like a faucet, and my throat is scratchy and sore. AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAHHHHHHH! I hate it!

This week has been sales rep hell. Everyone is calling, trying to finish up showing their fall lines. Half of the people I have blown off in the past and don't really care to do business with. Without coming right out and saying, "I don't want to buy your lame shit, please leave me alone!", I have to beat around the bush with them. There is a reason for that. In this industry it's really easy to burn bridges. Just because someone has a line you don't give a crap about today, doesn't mean they're not going to have the next hot thing tomorrow. And if they remember me being a bitch about it, then they'll never open my shop when I want them to. It sounds like a lame way of doing things, and it really sort of is, but that's the way it has to be done sometimes. Oh well.

I'm totally procrastinating right now. I need to be writing our t-shirt orders for the next couple of weeks and I keep zoning out. I feel like I'm back in high school again. Blah!

I got a new letter from Jen the other day and I've only been able to think of one thing to put down for the letter H HEAP!!!

I'll keep working on it, just like these orders. *HEH*
