My accomplishments for the evening:

• Making homemade arepas (corn cakes) with dinner and not totally botching the recipe. (Gotta add some fresh corn kernels to the batter next time - that would make them perfect. Oh, and also not accidentally buy non-fat cheese (ick) to put in the batter. Gotta read those labels.)


• Fixing the downstairs toilet.


• Setting up wireless networking with our brand new "Airport Extreme" basestation. It works! Go me! Go Apple! Daniel and I can now both be on line simultaneously from anywhere in the house.

This last may result in fewer journal entries hastily posted on breaks from work. Then again, it may not.
