The big project from heck that I've been slaving away over at work is well and truly done. The product has shipped. My manuals are out there on the web. We had more than our share of crazy hiccups getting everything out the door yesterday, but we did it.

My team leader is undoubtedly going to be marvellously relieved to have me no longer showing up in her office saying, "So, we have a...situation." (I don't know why "situation" has become my euphemism for "Product management just asked for something totally unreasonable! Help!" But I suppose it functions as well as anything else.)

I have today off from work. I had a nice lazy brunch with Daniel, and then we went to Best Buy for video games. (I got the new Shadow Hearts game! Wheeee!) And to Sports Authority for workout gear.

In another milestone, I have just attained a weight that places my body mass index in the "overweight" category, rather than the "obese" category. Interestingly, this coincided with the first time that one of my coworkers at Geekville has noticed that I've lost weight. As it usually does when someone notices my weight loss, this produced a feeling in me that was half delight and pride and half "Whoops! Busted!"
