Another week

I'm leaving for workshop in a couple of hours. I just made my twenty hours for the week. It doesn't feel like I'm pushing myself as hard as I should with this cookie challenge. I probably should add getting a few more stories off of my desk. Maybe even jack up the hours spent on novel revision.

And a lot of words to read this week for workshop. Four stories, one of them at twelve thousand words.

I'll get this novel done. Do some work every day and it will be done. Sometimes I add new words and sometimes it's just shaping paragraphs or scenes. Then there's cutting excess words and repeated passages as sometimes I describe something again and again to find out what works. Then there's the holes where I need to supply a research detail or name or a piece of the puzzle I hoped to find later in the discovery draft of this novel.

Wee!
