Moulin Rouge...

Saw it again last night. I'm not sure what that says about the movie or about myself. It still doesn't fail to amaze me. It's the type of movie that I would love to have a piece of the action working on. Art direction, cinematography, all of it impresses me. It's beautiful.

Hosting.com launch party was last night. All of 9 people showed up, which meant extra food, cheesecake, and drink tickets for everyone. Woo hoo! It was cool sitting around talking about the company's recent events and hopefully where all of this will lead... Which brings up the big question...

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

Sorry, someone had to say it.

On to the ponderings of last night. After getting home last night, I had quite a bit on my mind. I'm finally going to have all of my dad's stuff out here in LA, Misty's Aussie friend comes into town at like 1pm today, I should be getting some money soon in which I shall put away some, get a car with some, and use some of it to finance my artistic and creative endeavors (art supplies and a kickass computer, that's what it's all about) I haven't done any painting or real art for a while now, and it's about time to start. Maybe my apartment is just not condusive to artistic inspiration, but I'm moving in a month so hopefully new surroundings will do me well.

Wow, moving in a month. I'll be so happy to leave my place but wow is moving going to be a pain in the butt. I don't even have a place lined up exactly, but I guess I'll find something at some point. I really would like my own place, but that could get expensive really quickly.

Song of the day.. "Minnie the Moocher" The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo (yes, the song is that old), from the Forbidden Zone soundtrack (never seen the movie, but the soundtrack is very strange)
