Mood:
So-So

So I stayed home sick yesterday. grr. I hate having to do that. I hate that feeling that I've stayed home, and could be doing a dozen useful things now that I'm home for the day, but feel too horrible to do any of them. I hung out on the couch most of the day. Read, slept, popped in Tank Girl and finally decided that I wanted to get out of the house to do something, in case just getting up and out would help, and it actually did. Went to see The Tuxedo. It was a fun movie, but there was a fair amount of mediocre acting in it. It was nice to get out and relax at a movie, I've been wrestling with whatever flu or cold this is since Monday afternoon.

I am feeling better today, but have a sinus pressure headache, it feels like there's air bubbles in my head and face (no air head comments from the peanut gallery please). Am having a little bit of a lunch, starting slow though, as a bit over 24 hours ago I couldn't even keep down DayQuil. I'll move on to slightly more pleasent subjects however.

I tried to work on my resume a bit yesterday, but wasn't able to do too much. I think I am going to just write up at least two different ones with different focuses. Resume writing has really made me start thinking more about what I want to look for and do, and what I want employers to look for in me. It's been interesting.

So, another Wednesday, another weekly report and performance metrics to turn in for my group, de-spamming mailboxes, and catch up on the things that were sent to me to address yesterday. *sigh* I may jet outta here early if this headache doesn't go away.
