So I asked for it, and here it is. Kenny has set me up with the first batch of these interview questions. I've got nothing much to do at the moment, having just turned in bios for everyone (left) on my team as well as myself for review and to be passed on to Company X (they wtill won't tell me) who should have our purchase finalized within the next two week. (That's right, "two weeks")

1) What is the best thing about working for ALGX/Virtualis? The worst?

The best thing about working for this company is really the one thing I can truly say I have gotten out of this experience. It is how much my written/verbal communication has greatly improved. I have now had a lot of practice in technical, PR/Customer, and business/professional communications and my skills in wordsmithing (read spinning) continue to impress others as well as myself. I have not only been able to establish myself as a lead department manager (something I wouldn't have seen myself as being capable of 3ish years ago) but also as a force to be reckoned with.

The worst thing, and unfortunately something that can often drag me down faster than anything, is the overwhelming sense of being on a sinking (or even sunken) ship, and the accompanying apathetic and bummer moods that it causes. Not only do I have to be a cheerleader to keep my group enthused and driven and in focus, but I have to do so knowing in the back of my head that I'm not really building anything up, just keeping things steady in a holding pattern (though who knows what this sale will bring). It's very frustrating to me, with the drive and willingness to put in my 110%, to know that 50% is sufficient, and anything furthre hardly recognized.

2) What was the coolest thing to ever happen at a Cam game that you wished you were involved in, but weren't?

Hmm, I am sure that there were things that happened years ago that I envied not taking part in, but seeing that I cannot remember them, I'd have to say ICC last year. I was there, at the Cam/Anarch game, but pretty much away from all of the real action for one of the games. While I sat, warning other Toreadors about the dangers that were rumored happening at the other "salon", and listening/watching performances, what "apparently" occurred was the antediluvian of the Toreador clan attended the other gathering, and was killed, and marked a pivitol change in the whole clan. My 7-year-played character experienced the change (extreme dispair) but missed the action.

3) If you could have your art displayed anywhere, where and why?

Oooh, tough decision. I'd like to have paintings and drawings displayed EVERYWHERE, but that answer is too easy, so I'll express one of my grander ideas. You've seen the angel statues all around Los Angeles right? I had contemplated for quite some time doing something equally widespread in LA, New York (choice) or Chicago, with paintings or costumed sculptures of famous characters, pop culture, literary, or film/television, everywhere around the city. I haven't had much experience in sculpture due to lack of resources / workspace, but it is one of my many aspirations.

4) If you had to trade some negative aspect of your personality/mentality for a positive aspect of your twin sister's personality/mentality, what would it be?

Nice question! Misty has an adventurous aspect to her personality that I believe I have, but restrain for the most part. Going head-first into moving to another country, exploring everything, the shows/performances she has done, 2000 Olympics Opening Ceremonies, and just overall getting around a bit more than I have. I think I have too much of a static sense of responsibility, that I would love to swap out for a while for some care free wildchild-ness. :)

5) If you were the subject of a reality show like Ed TV (where someone just follows you around ALL the time), what would you do differently in your life?

I'd probably be a total ham. I'm in general a ham and like being funny, and I think I would probably overdo it if I had a camera on me all the time. I'd be a lot "bigger and louder" in the theatre sense of the words. I'd try my hardest to not be such a klutz, but in doing so, would probably wind up being more of a klutz, but at least it would get more laughs, which is what I was going for to start off with so hey, there ya go! :)

RULES:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
