I think one reason why people get sick is simply because their body has decided to take control and force them to get some rest. I think that is what it was/is in my case at least. I could feel it coming on, the stuffiness, the soreness, coughing at rehearsals, and yesterday morning when I woke up, I knew that my body had won the battle, so I stayed home and stayed in bed for the most part of the day. I did bundle up for rehearsal, and at one point went the whole block down the road to 7-11 for Gatorade and bottled water, but that's about it. Feeling much better today.

Ya know, I think I've been so lax in updating my journal, I hadn't even mentioned that I have been assistant directing a show, while I learn the stage management stuff in order to stage manage the next show, and then I will be stage managing Erik's show after that. So, we're talking 3 or 4 shows within the next two months, on top of work stuff, and that's just for starters.

Oh, by the way... COME SEE MY SHOWS! The one coming up, called "Who's On First?" starts next Thursday, 8:30 pm, and then there's a Sunday showing at 3 pm. If you can't make it that week come the next week. If you cannot make it either of those weeks, come the third or fourth week (though it will be a different cast), I'll actually be running tech myself those weeks, so if there's a screw up, it will be totally my bad. Woo!

In July, I'll be assisting with "Deathtrap" which is bound to be a great show. I'll post the scheule to that soon, and will have updated the hollywoodfightclub.com website by then as well. (Since I'm also one of the two people now in charge of that site)

So I'm really having fun keeping busy with this theater company. Sure, I'm still trying to balance the whole finishing up this job/finding my next jobstoryteller responsibilities, but I'm generally a clever person so I should be able to make it work right?

Visited my older bro last weekend and spent some good quality time talking with him. We talked about family members, religion, relationships, cooking, his garden, financials (he's going through a bankruptsy right now) and all sorts of stuff. I think it was the most I have talked with him in one setting. We've always been fairly close, but never really the talky, relating conversations. It was fun.

There was a lot more in this entry, but it's all kinda downer, and kina it's own subject, so I'm going to put it into my next entry. This one will just be my "cool stuff I've been up to" entry.
