I went into this movie hoping for the best...
And that's what I got.

I was very impressed with this movie, and cannot wait to see the finished product. The special effects were not quite finished, and there were some placeholder shots, but wow.

Whether you are a Firefly fan chomping at the bit for this one, or whether you are just a Sci-Fi audience memeber who isn't really familiar with the show, you'll love this movie.

Audience reactions are a wonderful thing, especially when an audience reacts well. We laughed, we cried, we laughed, we jumped, we hollered, we hooted, we nodded knowingly, and we swooned. The audience was one huge family. I know that generally they try to get a good crloss section of people to test screenings like this, but wow, they got a LOT of fans.

I don't know what they'll change between now and the official release date. My hope is that they cut nothing. Everything in this film was crucially important, interwoven, and detrimental.

Just wow.

Do yourself a favor and avoid all spoilers. Do yourself a favor and watch the series on DVD if you have not yet done do.
