its been a fattening weekend so far...
friday: out with nick in the afternoon... then rushing to granddad's birthday buffet dinner where i ate: sushi, oysters, crepes, chocolate fondue, cheesecake, crab, crayfish, mussels, soba, handmade chocolates, fudge... erm. everything. it was fattening!... then there was the enormous birthday cake. i am so ashamed to say i ate some of that too.
today: i went out to watch harry potter.
the good:
- Emma Watson: in her portrayal of Hermione Granger. and i discovered, i dont just have her i-can-and-will-kill-you dagger stare; we're incredibly alike!
'Put me down. (pause) Now.'
'Just because you have the emotional range of teaspoon' hahaha. oh, and her hair is unrealistically improved.
- Fred and George who are getting cuter as they get older
- Umbridge: they certainly picked the right person for the damn role. the moment i saw her, i fell hopelessly in hate with her. she is such a poor brainwashed propaganda machine/ evil witch/ fugly witch. hem hems and fake giggles to match.
- the scene where Umbridge is taken by the creatures in the forest and
she says: no. tell them i mean no harm.
and Harry says the best thing ever: sorry professor. i must not tell lies.
ah. revenge is a sweet sweet thing.
-luna lovegood: once again, good casting. she has the whole essence of looney lovegood down to boot, the wide staring eyes, the voice... its like she walked off the pages.
- the scenes at the department of mysteries: whoa. good job.

the bad:
- Cho Chang: what can i say. if you're going to keep her around, dont make her so irritating and whiny.
- the PG kiss scene: come on. it was such a lousy kiss. i agree with the PG rating. if kids see this without proper explaination, they might think kissing actually looks like that horrific trying to mush their faces into one scene and be put off from the whole dating game altogether.
- Harry's... what do you call it, hair?
- No quidditch! WHYYYYYY. we need it. its the only time we ever see it played isnt it...
-Fred and George's open rebellion scene: not well done at all. i needed it to be more angsty and angry and all. plus,no ghosts or students wrecking havoc after they were gone which i also wanted to watch.

i had popcorn. urg. more fats.
then i had a western dinner. why why why... and icecream for dessert.

and juicy secrets for supper.
the cherry on top of the multi layered cream covered cake.
