Is there life after the A's?
Apparently not. There is just a vast expanse of idle freedom... Something I would have killed for just weeks ago. But now, you know. Too much of a good thing and all.

Non-life briefly:
1) Bumming around: not doing all the things I should be doing (shopping, scholarship essay, reading up about Hong Kong) and doing all the things I shouldn't be (Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives. Shockingly, I'm also watching Enchanted. I know. Somebody shoot me. I'm also reading fiction again. For fun. God, its been long since I did that. I've missed it so terribly much.)

2) The Horror: that is My Brother. I'm going out of my mind trying to fill up his brain with Some Kind of Chinese. Urg. He's got none of my study attitude. NONE. I'm frustrated constantly because I know in the end, its the student.

3) Long Lazy Afternoon Naps: Ha. Erm. I fell asleep today while I was waiting to go out. Yeps. Need a life. Uber unglam and a very very slacker-ish thing to do.

4) Literature= Life: The library is a place I go to get completely lost. Haha. Well I made it through Cat's Cradle. I liked it. Already had my Nora Roberts chick lit dose. Now on The Beautiful and Damned. The Great Gatsby really is his best work. In the former, there is a sense that he tries to convey the same essence of the ineffable, the fleeting intangible spirit. But he just has so much more control over the craft in Gatsby... It's almost clumsy the way he does it in this one...

5) My struggle: I feel like I'm fighting everything. I feel like this is the biggest thing I've ever fought for. I feel like my parents are not on my side. I'm just tired; and kinda wishing at once, that I'm fighting harder and the fight is easier.

6) Shopping for expensive things: maybe its just Christmas. Haha. But yes. There's something I want. hmm. Take a chance? Or just... walk on by?
