Sonic Boutique

In case you don't follow my meanderings elsewhere, I tend to discuss projects I'm working on under code names, generally character names from other works. So in this case, the story I'm working on right now is Tiga Belas, after a Cordwainer Smith character.

I don't know why, but I blew through this story to the climactic scene like three weeks ago, and since then I've been coming home every night meaning to write it and just never managing to do it.

I even know more or less what happens. My protagonist and his best friend go hunting in the woods, someone takes a shot at them for reasons explained earlier in the story, the friend is wounded and the protagonist makes his big decision. There you go. No idea why I can't seem to actually make myself write it.

So I'm laying it out there. Tonight, that gets done, or else you can pelt me with rotten fruit and whatnot.
