Whew!

Taking a little break here from Operation Clean Office.

I am pleased, and a little worried, to say that I can now see small portions of the actual floor.

Okay, this shouldn't be too much of a surprise. I mean, this office was completely in order three years or so when I had to clear space for the cable guy and phone guy to do their things. As we're considering upgrading, I need to consider technician-access again. And About a year and a half ago I almost got this room in shape--enough to actually use my second desk where I keep my art supplies.

So it could be worse.

Ah, the trials and tribulations of being a packrat.

Things found while cleaning:

Rejection slips from four years ago
Christmas presents from two years ago
Easter candy from last year
Book purchased, never read, still in the Borders bag
A coffeemaker
A calvary sword
CD cases without CDs
DVD cases without DVDs
CDs and DVDs without cases
A Santa Claus hat (now I have two!)
Power cords of many sizes and varieties (to what, I don't know)
A VCR remote shaped like Pikachu
Pipe tobacco
A PowerMac
A roll of adhesive magnets

Huh. Go figure.

So I'm very excited. If I only knew the exact date and time of the premiere, I'd start an official countdown, but that information has not yet been released. I speak of none other than the first official episode of Season 3 to The Venture Bros.! (Apparently a complete episode was previewed at the New York Comicon. Dang.

Okay, enjough stalling. Back to work. I made need to don work gloves for the next stage. Wish me luck!

Today's link goes to Jackson Publick's Blog: Publick Nuisance - The secret files of the Ventureverse. It doesn't get a lot of updates, but what updates that do appear are deliciously tantalizing for all Venture Bros. fans. I expect as get closer to the June premiere, there will be more regular updates.

Go, Team Venture!
