Bring It On, Did I Say?

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

It's curious nowadays that the only time I really spend on my classes are during the scheduled lecture or lab times, and that the rest of the hours are spent either on extracurriculars or graduate studies. It's an increase from even last term.

Sure the past two weeks was a relative vacation now, compared to what was waiting for me when I returned. That's not even counting the new work I think I already mentioned like the Christmas party committee.

@@ I don't know yet if the lab technician was absent the whole time I was away.

I do know that he hasn't been here since Monday, and that means that lab classes have suffered again with the teachers doubling as lab personnel handing out the equipment.

@@ Tomorrow I have a meeting with the human resources director about the letter of recommendation for salary increase that I sent for the secretary of the office of student affairs.

Although from the phone conversation I had with her confirming the meeting, it's also about the discipline case we have where the brother president reopened the investigation to take into consideration the request of the parents that we talk to the "witnesses" first, where the parents in fact believe that the case has been dismissed by their request.

Ri-i-ight. People like this who think they can always get their way and that they are always right are the best candidates for a nose dive into humiliation and a rude awakening.

@@ I'm actually listening to a lab class beside my own class where the students are making fun of a certain student.

They're asking him questions like living with a roommate and sharing a bathroom and he's answering them seriously. I guess it's rarely that he does get to express his opinions like this.

It's strange when people have to compromise integrity for simple human contact.

Session 2415 is being cautious now about journal titles that may draw strangers in. Class dismissed.
