Dealings with McFood Place

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

I am going to ask the college faculty if it would be alright with them if I join their recollection, and pay my own way.

Okay, maybe it is not the faculty that I have to ask, but the administrators, both those joining and approving of the activity.

Yesterday, up to the night, I had my first complete session of robotics lecture and lab. This is from 230 in the afternoon up to 8pm.

There was supposed to be a thirty minute break between the lab (from 530pm to 6pm) but we just pushed through with it.

After all, we were able to ask for food to be delivered from online, which, as I mentioned in the social networks, I had tried before.

Thankfully, just like the pizzas from Domino that I used to have brought over before from my previous place of work, they had records of my earlier order so there were not any questions anymore about location.

Okay, here is where I admit the duplicity (I am using that word because I will be able to watch the movie soon, thanks to one of my co-teachers for lending it to me) about these ongoing transactions.

I know that my place of delivery is, according to the website, not in their area of jurisdiction. The first time I ordered, I even told the person calling that if he tells the people at the nearest branch about it, that they will tell him my place is nearby and not in another town altogether as he assumed.

Of course, that is the ongoing tribulations that we have because of the name of the school, not where it is located. But as long as the school continues to exist, the instances of confusion will lessen, we hope.

Also, if the delivery boy was to pay attention, he would know that there is even a large road sign he passes telling him he is already entering another municipality. But then again, maybe these people do not know that the delivery orders being given to them is not supposed to go this far.

But speaking of this branch, during the week we found out that for the third or fourth time, some of our students who went to that branch were victimized by robbers breaking the window of their car and stealing laptops, in the middle of the day, afternoon, in fact, not busy lunch schedule.

This already happened a few years ago, and the place already had a guard posted, and it was just meters from the entrance to an exclusive community. But unfortunately, no one was caught.

I understand that the guards of the community gate could say they do not care about thieves not threatening their residents, but if the criminals get that confident, after being scot-free for so long, they may start robbing houses.

One of my co-teachers (who was part of the discipline board story yesterday and the day before that) in fact said that maybe the guards are in on the caper, which would explain their neglect.

So who would care if he gets sacked from the vigilance job? He will get a cut from the profits from the stolen merchandise, right?

Session 2807 is just glad about being able to post for this day of the week after so long. Class dismissed.
