Another birthday has come and gone. I have to say that, while this year was better than last year, it was still somewhat disappointing. Once again, a fairly large number of people simply forgot, which is never a happy thing (but one that I have been guilty of in the past myself), and my major plans for the night fell through. On the plus side, I had my sweetie with me. Pita makes everything better! She skipped out on class that morning, and I wrangled a day off from work, so we had the whole day together, and that was wonderful.

We took it easy all morning, and then wandered out for a late lunch with my dad, my brother, and his girlfriend. They ran late, which partially led to the aforementioned plans falling apart, but we had a very nice time, and Val (Ben's GF) gave me an I.O.U. for an X-box. I swear, she's crazy! After that, Pita and I took dad home, and eventually, we ended up just doing a mall crawl, getting some random stuff, getting some food, hitting Tower Records, and calling it a night.

Other than that, things are pretty much the same. I'm about to start searching for another job, since work pretty much sucks. I'm considering getting a new cell phone, because mine is getting very cranky. The only problem is, I don't know if I want to spend the money on another Sprint phone, because I'm strongly considering switching companies in a year or so, and I don't want to spend the money on a phone I'm only going to use for a year. I am slowly but surely climbing my way out of the debt I built up at Brandeis, which is a huge relief to me. I hope to have the major part of it paid off in about 7 months, assuming I can keep paying it off at the same pace.
