I feel like I'm writing an Arthur title. And in this episode, Arthur is nervous about going to the dentist and clings to his mommy, but then the very clever hygenist shows him her tickle toothbrush and somehow, magically, Arthur's teeth get clean.

That's basically how it went. Rose is an old pro at going to the dentist and hopped right in the chair. She loves it. She loves to discuss how soon her next tooth will fall out (soon) and the general state of her mouth and teeth (great.)

David started freaking when it was just me, the big chair, and the hygenist. But once we agreed he could go hang out with Rose, things started improving fast. I never thought they would actually be able to clean his teeth, but he became so fascinated by the gadgets that he didn't have time to freak. I think he really liked being an active participant and holding the suction tube himself.

Anyway, no cavities for anybody. Happy memories of a dentist (who is the most delightful whimsical goofball of a medical professional I've ever met), and it was all fast.
