I don't take Rose for granted

I don't take for granted how she can handle her own bloody noses and pinch her nose and time herself and not have a fit about how unfair it is.

I don't take for granted how she can and will share every minute of the day. When we go around the table and tell about our day, Rose starts out, "Well, Uncle Dan walked me to school and when I got there Jasper grabbed me and said, 'help! I need you to be on my soccer team!' so I. . ."

I don't take for granted, even though I do find it kind of aggravating how she shares all her feelings, especially the I don't know what I'm feeling, it's a funny sad feeling.

I don't take for granted how she can give herself a shower, how she chooses to do homework and sits down and does it in random spare minutes, how she enjoys dusting the really dusty parts.

I don't take for granted how she still believes in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus or at least chooses to act as if she does.

I don't take for granted her full body hugs or the way she tells me she loves me.
