I don't know why today's 90 degree weather seems like so much hotter than last week's 90 degree weather. Could be it's more humid, though perhaps that's just me humidifying the air with perspiration! Blergh.

Today my students had a musical performance at The Atrium, a local retirement home/senior center. They did well, especially considering it was their first performance this year. And the seniors were a fairly non-critical audience, and asked them to come back again. Key to the tender adolescent sensibility, to be wanted.

I think it was successful, for what it was, and our music teacher will help them through the discussion of how to make it even better next time, so I don't have to do it.

In other news, I think I'm already overwhelmed by the pink background. It's a little intense. I wonder if I change it, if yesterday's entry will stay pink? Hmmm. Only one way to find out, I guess.
