I edited and prepared the three stories I have accepted for the first issue of Lone Star Stories today. I'll give them all a day or two, then look them over with a fresh editorial eye to see if additional work is necessary. I also altered the background color of the web site to lighten it a bit for easier reading. That's about it for 'zine-related news, as I have not received a submission in many days.

No news on the prose writing front, which I hope to remedy later in the week. I'll be attending a continuing legal education course tomorrow, so I don't expect to get any writing done but note-taking.

The recent rediscovery of my poetic side resulted in a quartet of haiku and short poetry that I submitted and had rejected as too short by Decompositions. I then sent the two haiku sections of the quartet to a more appropriate market, Scifaikuest. The other two poems are waiting for me to discover the right market(s).
