Stupid lady (the one who I regularly bitch about because well.. she's stupid) wished the department a Happy Columbus Day.

I'd point out to her that Columbus was an egotistical, greedy scumbag and he ushered in centuries of rape, murder and slavery in the name of "civilization" but I'm fairly certain it would go right over her head.

I prefer to remember La Malinche and how the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and my half breed, mal-adjusted race that celebrates it's 511th birthday today.
