Well today was a pretty annoying day. Lots of really stupid customers managed to find their way out of their holes and come to Collar & Leash.

One customer came in asking my advice about a dewormer, but the thing is, he described the symptoms to me and I know the cat isn't suffering from worms. The symptoms were that the cat wasn't eating and it was lethargic. Plus, he couldn't tell me what type of worms the cat was suffering from. Usually when a cat is suffering from worms you will find evidence of them in their feces and around the anal area. Either you will see little rice-like things or long spaghetti-like worms. Nothing. I explained that a worm infested cat would be eating all the time and the cat would then be losing weight. But he was convinced his cat had worms. The man wouldn't fucking listen to me! I mean I'm only studying to become a vet! Argh! Finally, he agreed to take a card for a vet clinic and left.

I had another guy come in expecting me to identify the type of dog food he feeds his dog purely by the description he had of the kibble! Yeah right buddy!

The last person I had come in was a total asshole! He came in and he was returning a bunch of collars and leashes. He told me that the last time he was in the store he was treated really well, but the guy that was working gave his dog a pepperoni stick and apparently this gave the dog violent diarrhea for three days (or so he said). Now first of all, I'm pretty sure it was bull because if a dog has violent diarrhea for three days, you'd need to take the dog to the vet for intravenous fluids because the dog's life could be in danger. So anyway, he tells me this and says, "you should tell your employee not to feed people's pets treats unless they ask." Well it seemed fair enough, but it's what came next that was infuriating. He came out and said, "Oh, you are going to return a leash that I used once and is now filthy!" I said, "Um, sir, we can't take back a leash that is dirty...we can't resell it." He came back and said, "Oh, do you want to pay for the carpet cleaning bill?" I said, "Sir, this isn't defective, it's just dirty. Yellow gets dirty easily." He came back with, "Do YOU want to pay for the carpet cleaning?" I had no choice unfortunately, but I did say to him, "Look, I'll do it this time, but I will NOT ever do it again!" I swear I was ready to cry.

I just can't believe how stupid and idiotic people can be. Well I'm tired so I'm going to go to bed.
