Painful!!

So this morning at about a quarter after 5, I woke up to my knee being very sore and unable to bend without enduring excruciating pain. I tried to sleep longer since I didn't have to be up for another hour, but to no avail. I couldn't get it comfortable with it straight or bent. YEOUCH!

So as the alarm went off I woke Berek up. I think he was a little confused by this since I am always the one who needs some extra attention in order to keep me awake after the alarm goes off.

I got up and went to take a shower. As long as I didn't bend my leg, I was okay. Now I had to lift my leg out of the shower. That was an adventure, but at least I came out of the shower successfully. I couldn't put on my sock or shoe because I couldn't bend my knee enough to be able to. It really hurt. Berek was sweet enough to do this impossible task for me.

Getting in the car to head to work was fun too. I had to maneuver my leg over into the car and hoist the rest of me up. Yeesh. Getting out of the car was no better, but again, my knight in shining armor to the rescue. :D But he couldn't save me from the pain endured at work. It wasn't anyone's fault. Work was even a slower-than-usual day so I didn't have to walk around a whole lot. Still, I was hurting. (By the way, my usual dose of Ibuprofen didn't work)

I had to wait until my break in order to get a knee brace which my mom so thoughtfully provided. I even got a great lunch with my folks. That was probably the best part of today. Then I headed to work. A co-worker suggested I take a higher dose of advil and that should work. Thankfully, it did. I can hardly walk, but at least the pain isn't doubling me over with tears in my eyes. I can at least bend my knee slightly. Yeesh...

Hopefully, I didn't tear anything other than muscle. Muscle tears will usually heal. Tendons or ligaments...not really so well. If this persists, I'll probably have to go to the doctor. I'm giving it until tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I'm also noticing that my knee is popping more...*gulp*

Wish me luck...
