So the past couple of days I haven't really felt up to doing lots of activity, but I have made it a point to eat healthier. I've had healthy breakfasts and healthy lunches, haven't touched fast food all week.

Yesterday, I had the best butternut squash soup ever! I have no idea what all was in it, but it was sweet and savory and creamy and really really good (the little lunch place was called Cafe Sol, will be seeking recipie). I had a watercress and spinach salad with chicken, walnuts and bleu cheese crumbles. Today I had really good chicken tortilla soup. Perfect for a kinda rainy-ish couple of days.

I still haven't been able to stay away from sweets. Cake, candy, whatever is around. It's aggravating. I think it might suit me to try a non sugar week this month, proably next week (it would be kinda silly to do it during Thanksgiving week).

I did walk a bit in Hollywood to get to my theater meeting, which wasn't as productive as I had hoped but my friend just ended a very long commited relationship so she was having a bit of a hard time and we cut the meeting short so she could talk to him (her boyfriend that she was house-shopping with just a few weeks ago) I think we got a few things ironed out. I showed her a few online collaboration tools that I've been trying out so we can work on plans, documents, etc. It's a little frustrating, we're not as far as I had hoped we'd be by now. I bought a couple of books on the way home though, one about starting a theater company and the other about getting funding for the arts. I hope they help.

Tomorrow is Friday. This means work will be slow and I can catch up, and I don't have to worry about staying up late. I may even get some exercise in yet. Huzzah!
